FEEDERS
Various
Sizes are offered used for controlled Feeding of powders or granular
materials at preset rates into further Process Equipments such as
Grinding mills, screening machines, Packaging equipment etc.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
There is an electromagnetic coil that is housed in a closed box
which is suspended on 4 springs. The Intensity of vibrations can
be varied by an AC Variator to increase or decrease vibrations on
the open tray or closed pipe design welded on the top of the vibrator
box .Storage hoppers can be fitted above the Feeder to hold over
100kgs In feed material.
The material flow on the Feeder can vary from 10kgs/hr to 5000kgs/hr.
Material of construction is of mild steel or stainless steel.

Constructional features
The
components in a typical vacuum conveying system are shown in the
figure alongside.
An airlock feeder is not essential since the material can be sucked
directly however, where metering Of capacity is required a rotary
feeder is used.
The exhauster is installed immediately a Bar the material separator
at the same end of the Pipeline to ensure that only clean air passes
through it to the atmosphere.

Vacuum system is capable of conveying a wide variety of powders
and granules. However, it is specialty recommended for the following
materials.
Alum, Alumina, Aluminium hydrate, Arsenic oxide, Asbestos dust,
Bauxite, Dried beet pulp, Carbon, Petroleum catalysts, Coke, Cottonseed
meal, Detergent powders, Feldspar, Flour, rams, Graphite, Gypsum,
Lime, Malt, Milk powder, Petroleum coke, Rice, Salt, Seeds, Sodium
phosphate, Wood flour, Zinc oxide etc.

J D C Bag Filters
Pulse jet Dust collectors are closed type Bag filters. The dust
laden air enters the filter housing from the base. The dust particles
are caught in the filter cloth and clean air passes through it.
The particles caught by the filter gradually build up Bag filters
have the highest efficiency compared to any other type of dust collectors
used in pneumatic conveying systems.
The dust laden air enters the flter housing near its base.
The particles caught by the filter gradually build up on its surface
and the pressure drop across the filter increases so it is necessary
to clean the filters periodically. The more common and preferred
method is to use a reverse pulse jet of compressed air which is
passed through the bags for very small duration periodically. Under
this pressure, the bas expand and due to the shock effect of this
pulse, the particles are dislodged into the hopper below. All bags
are not cleaned simultaneously and a sequential controller is incorporated
in the circuit to clean one row of bags at a time in a cyclic manner.

ROTARY
AIRLOCK VALVES
Rotary airlock feeder is for transfer of dry solid granular solids
powders between parts of a system at equal pressure with minimum
air losses in different pressure conditions.
Two Designs of Airlock valves are available, Drop through Type for
direct gravity discharge of powders granules into collection bins
receivers, Blow through type, for cohesive materials which are not
easily discharged so conveying air passes through and purges the
discharge pockets.
